Description
A rich cream mask with macadamia oil, vitamin E, ceramides and oat flour.
When the weather becomes colder, outdoor wind and indoor heating can increase moisture loss from the skin. A moisturiser that was sufficient during summer may no longer provide enough comfort, and make-up may apply unevenly or emphasise dry, flaky areas.
During such periods, the skin may benefit from more intensive lipid-replenishing care. CPK Macadamia Pure E complements a daily moisturiser by softening dry areas, relieving sensations of tightness and replenishing the surface lipids that help the skin retain moisture.
The mask is suitable for normal, dry, very dry and sensitive skin. Shea butter and macadamia oil soften rough areas and form a fine protective layer that helps reduce transepidermal water loss. Glycerin binds water within the stratum corneum, supporting its hydration and flexibility. The skin feels softer and more comfortable after the first application.
Ceramide NP supports the restoration of the skin barrier. Ceramides form part of the intercellular lipid matrix within the stratum corneum, where they help limit water loss and protect the skin from external irritants. When these lipids are depleted, the skin loses moisture more readily and becomes less tolerant of cold weather, wind and dry indoor air. Replenishing ceramides helps reinforce the barrier and maintain hydration for longer.
Vitamin A supports normal epidermal renewal and contributes to the differentiation of skin cells and formation of the stratum corneum. With regular use, it helps improve the appearance of uneven or rough skin texture.
Severe dryness may be accompanied by itching, visible redness and stinging after cleansing. Oat flour helps soothe dry, uncomfortable skin, while bisabolol helps calm irritation and reduce the visible appearance of redness.
Macadamia Pure E may also provide restorative care after sun exposure when the skin feels dry and more sensitive. UV radiation can contribute to the oxidation of skin lipids, reducing their ability to support the protective barrier. Vitamin E, together with rosemary and ginger extracts, provides antioxidant protection and complements the mask’s barrier-supporting action.

Directions for use
Apply to cleansed facial skin two to three times weekly. Leave on for 10–15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

The mask may be combined with an exfoliating step when the skin is calm and tolerates exfoliation well. Use Renewing Gentle Exfoliating Gel first, then apply the mask to soften the skin and relieve tightness. Avoid excessive rubbing, particularly on sensitive or very dry skin.
If the skin does not tolerate friction, consider AHA Enzyme Peel G5. Papain and trypsin help break down the protein bonds between keratinised cells, facilitating their removal without mechanical scrubbing. After rinsing off the peel, apply the mask to soothe and soften the skin. If the face is already irritated, stings or feels painful to the touch, omit exfoliation until the skin barrier has recovered. During periods of pronounced dryness, the mask may be applied in a thin layer and left on overnight, provided the skin tolerates it well. Rinse with lukewarm water in the morning. When using the mask for 10–15 minutes, complete the routine with your usual facial moisturiser.
During the day, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50, particularly following significant sun exposure. Reapply approximately every two hours while outdoors and after swimming or heavy perspiration. Do not apply the mask to acutely sunburned, blistered or damaged skin.
