After the age of 30, full-coverage foundation can often work against the complexion: it settles into expression lines, clings to dry areas and, by the end of the day, makes the face look older rather than more youthful. Makeup artists follow a simple rule in such cases: the more mature the skin, the lighter the foundation should be.
New Age follows this principle. Its sheer coverage evens the complexion and softens the appearance of redness and signs of fatigue without settling into fine lines or emphasising uneven texture. The lightweight formula blends effortlessly and is suitable for all skin types.
Photoageing—and its most visible signs, wrinkles and pigmentation—is caused primarily by sun exposure. A significant amount of ultraviolet radiation can accumulate even during the daily commute. This is why SPF 20 and UVA 8 protection are incorporated directly into the morning makeup step: once applied, the skin is already protected.
The formula also provides complete daytime skincare. Panthenol and glycerin help the skin retain moisture, preventing sensations of dryness and tightness by the end of the day. Vitamin A gradually supports surface skin renewal, helping to create a more even complexion and smoother texture.
The key active ingredient is derived from the plant stem cells of Sigesbeckia orientalis, a plant native to Madagascar. Stem cells are the plant’s youngest, undifferentiated cells, from which it can regenerate new tissue. They contain a concentrated reserve of antioxidants and protective compounds. In this cream, their role is to help protect the skin from the effects of ultraviolet radiation not fully blocked by the sunscreen filters. Some UV radiation may still reach the skin and generate free radicals, which the antioxidants derived from Sigesbeckia orientalis help neutralise. Combined with UV filters, they provide a dual approach to protecting the skin against photoageing.
Directions for use
Apply a thin layer in the morning, working from the centre of the face outwards. Blend the edges thoroughly.

For oily and combination skin, the BB cream may provide sufficient hydration on its own. For dry skin, apply a serum or moisturiser first to help the tint spread more evenly. Do not try to build coverage with a second or third layer, as this will create the same heavy effect as a full-coverage foundation. Where additional coverage is needed, apply a small amount of concealer on top so that the overall finish remains lightweight.
Regarding SPF, the stated protection level is achieved only when the product is applied in the recommended generous amount; a thin cosmetic layer provides less protection. It may be sufficient for everyday urban use and brief sun exposure, but for the beach or mountains, use a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Reapply sun protection every two hours.
