Redness does not always behave in the same way. A temporary flush fades once skin settles, while persistent redness can leave a fine network of visible capillaries around the nose, cheeks or chin. Persistent vascular redness often needs more than a standard soothing cream. Decongenesia is made for redness-prone skin with visible capillaries: it tones down persistent redness and makes the vascular pattern less noticeable.

The light, water-gel texture spreads in a thin layer, absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy film. Apply it locally or across the entire redness-prone area. Suitable for normal, combination and oily skin.

An aluminium salt creates the serum’s immediate visible effect. On contact with skin, it binds to surface proteins and produces a mild astringent action. This temporarily tightens the surface and makes diffuse redness appear less pronounced.

Hesperidin is the key active for visible capillaries. This citrus-derived flavonoid is associated with improved capillary resilience in skincare for vascular redness. With regular use, the capillary pattern looks less pronounced and the complexion more even.

Antioxidant protection comes from echinacea meristem cell culture and SOD. Echinacea meristem cell culture is produced by growing plant cells under controlled laboratory conditions, creating a stable concentrate of the plant’s protective compounds. It soothes the skin and reduces its visible response to external triggers. SOD is a particularly powerful antioxidant enzyme that neutralises free radicals generated by UV exposure, polluted air and inflammation. These stressors make skin more reactive and prolong visible redness. Together, the two actives reinforce the protective barrier, so skin copes better with wind, sun and abrupt changes in temperature.

Bisabolol and allantoin relieve burning, heat and tightness. Glycerin holds moisture in the upper layers, allowing the water-light texture to hydrate without leaving the skin dry.
