An anhydrous serum with bisabolol, apricot kernel oil, vitamin E and rose extracts.

Sensitive skin can occasionally react even to familiar cleansing products with tightness, tingling and discomfort. The cheeks may become visibly red following exposure to wind or sudden temperature changes, while rubbing with a towel can intensify irritation. The Soothing Serum helps calm sensations of discomfort, reduce the appearance of redness and leave the skin softer, while complementing the usual daily skincare routine.

The serum has a lightweight oil-based texture that spreads easily in a thin layer and absorbs quickly. Only a few drops are required per application. It is suitable for sensitive skin prone to irritation, dryness and redness.

When the skin barrier is compromised, the skin loses moisture more readily and becomes increasingly susceptible to external irritants. This may result in greater tightness, flaking and discomfort during cleansing. The emollient base and apricot kernel oil help reduce moisture loss and soften the skin. Apricot kernel oil is naturally rich in fatty acids that support the restoration of the skin barrier. Urea helps bind water within the stratum corneum, supporting its hydration and flexibility.

Bisabolol helps soothe irritation and alleviate the associated sensations of burning and itching. Rosehip and musk rose extracts complement its soothing action and help reduce the visible appearance of redness. Vitamin E and rosemary extract provide antioxidant protection for the skin’s surface lipids.

Oxidised or damaged lipids are less effective at maintaining the skin’s protective barrier, making the skin more susceptible to dryness and irritation. Antioxidants help protect these lipids and support the skin barrier during the recovery process.
