Anti-Akne soothing mask 75ml

A soothing gel mask with arnica, bakuchiol and hazelnut protein for skin with pronounced breakouts.

The more severe the breakout, the stronger the temptation to take aggressive action: cauterise, dry out and disinfect the skin until it feels squeaky clean. It is a familiar impulse, but the result is often the exact opposite—inflamed skin responds to harsh treatment with irritation and further breakouts. This mask offers a different approach: soothing the skin instead of over-treating it. The lightweight gel helps reduce redness and sensations of heat and itching, while controlling bacterial activity and regulating sebum production—without clay, acids or drying alcohol.

The mask is designed for intensive care during acne flare-ups and to support the skin between professional treatments. Its gel texture spreads easily in a thin layer and rinses off readily with lukewarm water. Suitable for oily and combination skin with pronounced breakouts, including skin that does not tolerate conventional drying acne treatments well.

Arnica is the key active ingredient—the same botanical widely used in products for bruises and minor injuries. In skincare for acne-prone skin, it works in three ways: it helps inhibit bacterial growth, soothes the skin and reduces the redness that can make blemishes appear more prominent.

Hydrolysed hazelnut protein helps reduce sebum production. Less sebum means a less favourable environment for bacterial proliferation and a lower likelihood that clogged pores will develop into new inflammatory lesions.

Bakuchiol, a plant-derived alternative to retinol, helps gradually improve skin tone and texture. It works gently by softening problem skin, supporting the renewal of its surface layers and making post-inflammatory marks less noticeable over time. Unlike retinoids, bakuchiol does not increase the skin’s sensitivity to sunlight, so the mask can also be used during sunnier months.

Bisabolol helps prevent the active formula from placing additional stress on already irritated skin. It softens and soothes the skin while reducing redness and burning sensations. Lavender adds a fresh herbal fragrance and complements the formula’s antibacterial action.
